Easy cove
16 Sep 2008
By Anonymous Reviewer , Suffolk
"First thing, get over the price. Look else where for something similar, the costs are far higher. This not only looks good but is so easy to work with....so long as you get the angles right.
Waste a length and get all the angles you need if you are doing a fair bit, its worth it in the long run. The first lot I put up with artex, as with plaster cove, messy and not needed. Measured off and pinned up with long panel pins, then went behind and stuck it up with the £1.37 no-nonsense grab adhesive. Mitred all joints then filled with grab adhesive, finished of with gyproc joint filler, then sand.
Looks the dogs, save time, expense in the long run and the finish is excellent. Done my whole Victorian house with it (whos gonna know the difference)"

Sculptured Coving
2 Jul 2008
By Thumperman , Dorking
"This material is light, very easy to cut and use. In-line joints should be cut at an angle of 45 degrees, and then secured using screws into the ceiling and walls at regular intervals, as the first lot I fixed with NoNails started to lift away from the walls. Walls need to be free of paint and 'roughed up' prior to coving fixing. Fill all gaps and countersunk screw heads with caulking (slightly proud), and then sand carefully with low abrasive paper for a great finish.
Best regards
Handyman Express"
