Very poor transformer

"We have this temporarily installed to supply a temporary hording 110v lighting load well under load at 1100watts total vs 3000watts available.
The first one started to hum and fair play to Screwfix it was replaced no probs.
But the replacement trips after just 4hrs use and requires 30mins to cool down!
For a 3Kva tranny i would expect at least 2Kva continuous loading available!
