"At £40 i cant really complain, but this drill seriously lacks power when compared to my previous sds drills. If the strain gets too much the drill has a torque overide which kicks in (all to easily ) stopping rotation and making it difficult to remove the bit from the hole. My 24v Makita will run rings round this drill. Spend a bit more and go for a Makita or Dewalt."

"Bought this to drill pilot holes in concrete for frame fixings for stud wall. It did exactly what I wanted with minimum of effort. Combined with DeWalt SDS plus drill bits, job was a doddle. Previously tried a smalled drill which promptly caught fire...realised the hard way it wasn't up to the job so bought this which certainly was. All are highly recommended purchases from Screwfix."

"Cracking for the price, ignore the double spirit level on the rear of the unit, 10 mins of vibration and the bubble leaks air and becomes unusable. The speed adjustment is a nice touch and along with a very tough anti jam clutch (not mentioned anywhere) enables safe use of auger bits when using a normal chuck adapter.
One thing worth mentioning is the SDS chuck, on my unit it is extremely tight making it very hard to remove drill bits, i got over this by removing the rubber gromit and using a screw to lever out the bit, hopefully this will losen in use."
