"A nice clean easy way of finding out which one of your 136 solder/compression joints is not so great! Get a set of plugs (ref 81203) to go with it and you are sorted. Only gripe would be that for a push fit and a guage it is a bit pricey, though a lot cheaper than the alternative of a mop or a wet ceiling."
"We brought this guage to progressively check the underfloor heating and all plumbing work during our self build. We used a footpump to test with air before any water was put on. Its been great, as everytime the next section of plumbing has been added, we have tested without water. Result; whole house 100% water tight, except for one joint made by a pro-plumber when the air source heat pump was installed !!! Only downside with this product is that there are no spares available, which means if you damage the seal its a throw away, unless you can winkle the seal out and get something the same size."
