not impressed

"Bough to retrofit new wardrobe doors - using 18mm lamininated chip board. Used 3 hinges per door (6'x2') and the hinges were not man enough for the job. They bend when the door opens so the door drops a bit. So re position holes for screws a little up the door to take account of this and it helped. You also need 3-4mm gap to allow the door to open around the door frame - The doors were mounted flush with the frame. There is no micro adjustment for alignment.
Like the idea but it needs to be stronger and have micro adjustment"

Did the job

"I am building a small freestanding cabinet for the bathroom with an inset door. Did not come with any instructions or screws but what I did was offer up the door to the other 3 sides and secure with masking tape. Then I placed the hinge in the closed position to the appropriate side and pencilled in the screw holes on to the wood.
After drilling screw holes and partially inserting pan head screws it was then simple to put on the hinges and drive the screws home. Would probably be more difficult to apply to a fixed cupboard."

Near impossible to align

"It might be easy mount, but it is near impossible to align the door properly with the small extended screw holes. After loads of tries and the inside of the door looking like a pin cushion, I gave up and threw away the hinges and used normal (difficult to mount) kitchen door hinges."
