Best torch ever used

"I've used one of these for plumbing every day for years, looked after it will last a lifetime and all spares are available from a plumbers merchant if you do break it. Mapp gas or propane it does the job with no flare at awkward angles, a lock on flame with a steady base makes sitework easy and with a variety of nozzles it will take care of just about any job. My only minus point is no small nozzle available for leadwork."

Great-but have to find the gas

"I'm very impressed with this torch for the avid DIY'er when compared to the standard butane/propane torches. It gets much hotter and allows much faster working, also doing tee joints etc is easy as it can get several joints hot at the same time. Getting the gas is a little tricky but some larger DIY stores sell it. I've been using non Bernzomatic branded mapp gas with this torch without any problems, which some other online retailers sell."

"This torch has been around for years and is still the best on the market.
It provides the heat and flame control needed to accomadate a wide variety of situations, and with chaging the source gas used can be adapted to suit most situations and requirments.

The flame control allows you to bring the torch down to minimum for better control yet is powerful enough for the most demnanding situations.

On the whole this product is the one to own the only down side is at the end of its life the upper torch assembly becomes loose and the ignition fails, but by this time it would have provided good service.

A must for trade and for Diyer's alike dont buy a cheaper one you will end up buying this one."

"A top item, recently increased in price significantly.
Works well for plumbing jobs not great for paint stripping.
Gets very hot and can almost be used with wet pipes if you know the tricks."
