"We are a caravan business and use cordless drills all the time as leg winders. However, we have gone through many drills that were a lot cheaper. That was def a case of "buy cheap, buy twice" or in our case buy several. We decided to get the DeWalt DC759KB due to the high torque and battery type. It does the job great..! Battery charge lasts a lot longer than Nicad batteries, plus it has a full charge within an hour. It is worked everyday all day and has not missed a beat yet..!"

"This has been my best DIY purchase & I use it all the time.It has paid for itself many times over when I built decking,bin store,lean too & a shed.It wll not let you down & 2 batteries are plenty & soon recharged.Before this I had cheap drill/drivers which had no staying power & took 10 hours to charge a battery?The money I spent on them cost me £100 approx. I bought the drill & jigsaw combi(£479).......do not do that ! The jigsaw is useless,it drains the battery very quickly & has poor power.£149.99 is a bargain for the drill.The only reason I did not give 5 stars for performance,is that it is not very good for drilling holes in masonery/concrete-then again what cordless is?It is ok in plaster,but I always use a mains drill for masonery/concrete.You could maybe do a couple of holes slowly.I have not used the 12v or 14v version,but at £149.99-The 18v is cheaper?? This is my most used power tool & easily coped with large projects.I should have bought it on its own,as the jigsaw was very disappointing & I only used that twice.It is slightly heavy & I got repetitive strain injury(pain in my hand/thumb)when I built the decking but that disappeared when I used it less often.When I first had it & did not set the clutch properly,the torque nearly bent my hand around due to the power in the drill.Using Turbogolds largest screws,it drives them in effortlessly with no pilot hole. No regrets & I would definitely buy the 18v drill again.The quick release chuck works like dream-no messing with keys or buttons."
