"Yes everything the other reviewers have said and the additionalhandle at the base makes them ideal to tip stuff out. Best I have come across and very strong and when I think of all those useless bags Ive used previously you cant go wrong at this price Standing up may be a little tall for a small hatch back or buy a bungee strap or two"
"I purchased 3 of these YEARS ago through work to use as linen bins; when I left I was given one as a joke momento & have used it ever since for garden rubbish ( incl rubble!) Now after at least 5 years hard service it is looking for retirement! Am alarmed to see that it is 'out of stock' online; please don't say it has been replaced by a 'newer better! 'model as I doubt that is possible!"
"Great product, delivers exactly what it should, tough enough to withstand your typical garden waste and trimmings, have recommended to friends and family who are purchasing, having seen this product in action!"
"These bags are so useful and very handy when taking the garden rubbish to the local tip. I always smile at others spending ages struggling to get there cuttings out of useless plastic bags and I just come along tip and walk away. They could do with being slightly stronger as they do wear on the bottom and sharp cuttings can pierce the sides but they are still an excellent product."
"Just the job for use around the garden - avoids that irritating problem of trying to stuff clippings, etc in a bin bag - just fill this then empty into a bin! Sturdy too - not for rubble but fine for general garden rubbish."
"I was a bit apprehensive when I bought one of these, but its brilliant. Simple to use and very robust. No more fighting to get rubbish in the bag!!! or the bag splitting by the time you have got it to the car. When you have emptied it, simply collapse it and stow it ready for next time! I will be getting a couple more of these."
"A good sized pop-up garden bag, which keeps it shape and is perfect for light waste and prunings. However, I suspect it is not tough enough to cope with being packed with heavier stuff and the stitching of the handles is already creaking under the strain of being packed with the woody prunings from a large apple tree"
"Good size and all features good, but toggles broke off to quickly material too thin, and then spring round base came out as material again wore out. Needs to be made more industrial not for pottering around the garden. I had another one for many years from a garden centre."
"The price is very competetive compared with other outlets selling a similar product. The product is ideal for collecting leaves and prunings. The only drawback is that the bottom reinforced edging wears away easily and the metal spiral inside that gives the pop up effect starts to unravel partly deflating the bag and leaving the end of the metal exposed which becomes a hazard in itself"
"I have been purchasing these bags for some time now. Unfortunately over time the quality has deteriorated. Originally they were very good, durable and able to withstand reasonable work. Now it would appear that they are manufactured to a price and not a standard. The material that holds the sprung wire in place has little resistance to abrasion, the wire becomes free in no time palatially at the bottom of the bag and the way that the handles are stitched on they come away with little effort. I have been forced to do running repairs with cable ties but no more, I have purchased another make that pay attention to the detail. Generally these bags are a good design and with a little attention to detail they could be a great product. But until this time comes I would stay well clear."
