"If cartridge is too big for your gun, snip off the end plunge old drill to break seal push rear white plastic cap until adsesive is in nozzle saw off 50mm off cardboard end hey presto will fit your cartridge gun otherwise spend 3 quid and buy no nonsense gun that will take all sizes.Great product just be sure to leave it to set and harden."
"Used for skirtings and does the job unlike many of the no-nails type products. Use it quickly though otherwise forms a sort of skin. Only drawback being size of tube - has to be cut down to fit into any of my guns. (take about 30mm off)"
"Great for sticking skirting. After trying cheaper alternatives and the skirting coming loose, I'll always use gripfill in future when I need a really reliable strong glue. Great value for a great glue and filler. Bit smelly though, good ventilation needed for a few days after application."
"This is really great stuff, used it recently to stick a 2 x 1 batten to the underside of a 5m RSJ to support plasterboard. It took a bit longer to set than i was expecting, but once it had, there was no shifting it."
"What's good: will stick almost anything to anything. What you need to know: skins over almost immediately so you won't be able to smooth over like some other products (but you shouldn't need to smooth over where you're using this anyway right?). Also, it kicks out vapours that stink for a bit so if you've got several tubes' worth to use the place is going to be a bit heady for a while. There is a solvent free version available (yellow pack) but... it's the solvent that makes it as good as it is!"
"Sticks to most of stuff. Dries quickly. generally works well on 95% of jobs. However the skin forms to quickly and sometimes there is not enough time to put the two surfaces you want to stick together. You also need to that when it cures it shrinks quite a lot pulling the elements towards each other. This fact might be both a bonus or a pain in the back -depending on application."
