"Tried most no nails products, cheap and expensive but none compare with Gripfill Grab Adhesive for durability, cost and variety of uses. I also noticed that if you seal the tube well it don't get hard in the nozzle. love it!!"
"What's not to like, well could always be cheaper. But it grips stuff and it fills gaps. Normally always have a tube of it around.
If you've never used it before two things
a) wear disposable gloves. Don't get it on hands, it's a pain to wash off and can sting as it dries. b) as it dries it smells alot. If used in an open space inside, make sure you open the windows. I used it under the stairs and carried on working there - I might have been a little happy by the end of that day ;)"
"Excellent product. Used it to bond MDF skirting board to a mixture of old and new plaster. Grabs quickly and stays put allowing me to get on with the next job without having to wait for it to go off. Thick enough to fill the gaps in uneven walls too."
"I have used gripfill since I began my career as a carpenter 22 years ago. adhesives come on to the market and soon disappear but not gripfill, its no good for damp or wet conditions but you would have to pay double for an adhesive that is. I will continue to use gripfill as long as it is on the market. I recommend keeping it at room temperature for use. best price I've seen is from screwfix"
"Bought this to carry out minor repairs following replacement window installation. Things like cracks where plasterboard met wood frame, crack between ceiling plasterboard and wall. The adhesive quality in addition to gap filling was what attracted me to the product. The tube was a bit too long for my mastic gun - I should have checked - but with careful cutting down of the end with a stanley knife I got it to fit. Get the smaller tube if in doubt. Very pleased with the result and would use again."
"Half my house is held up with this stuff, it's brilliant. Skirting boards, batons, all sorts. It's cheap so use loads. One tip though, don't expect to be able to use it if it's been sat in a freezing cold garage for ages unless you've got hand strength of Stallone playing Gabe in Cliffhanger or Cruise as Ethen Hunt Mission Impossible II."
"Brilliant for sticking insulation boards to the inside of my caravan walls. However... make sure you read the bit about toxic fumes, as I nearly killed myself going to sleep in the caravan trying to convince myself it wasn't that bad! Luckily I woke up just before I felt the icy hand of death at 3am. If you are using it inside, either make sure you don't need to use the room for a long time, or use solvent free. The lesson endeth thus."
