"Weird problem - my son's computer's RJ45 socket wouldn't reliably accept the ethernet lead with standard RJ45 connector I'd installed - it kept working loose. So, I bought this coupler and used it as an adapter so his drop cable which did latch in the socket could go on the end of the ethernet cable which wouldn't latch. It's a really good value RJ45 coupler - beats high street electronic shop price by a factor of 2. And all plugs we tried happily latched into it."
"What can I say, just clip a cable in each end and away you go, lightweight, minimal, robust enough for the job and no signal strength loss whatsoever. Just the job, especially for patching broken cable, saved a load of time and money."
"I used this to join a splitter to the single cable (you need two splitters - one to connect two devices and the other to split into two leads going into the router). It works great and certainly made it easier than running a new cable through so the kids can have both the PlayStation and PC connected to the Internet.
