"I recently spent some time moving radiators around in my house and replacing valves. This tool saves so much time and effort when doing up the valves onto the radiators. I'm a DIYer and found it easy to move radiators with the help of this simple tool."
"I'm a chippy not a plumber but have basic understanding so when refitting my bathroom did all the work myself. The better half wanted a new towel rad so got one from screwfix on sale bargain! But the valve conections leaked! Looking on the forums here seems to be common problem with these rads, as I had fitted isolation valves it was simple for me to just lift it off the wall and with this sturdy little spanner remove the offending valves put on some extra tape and try again, sucess no leaks! Well worth £3.45 of anyones money and saved me losing face to my plumber mate who was itching for me to mess up! All in all did what it said it would, is a solid lump so should last a lifetime. Don't know what the square end and machined grooves are for but assume they fit other more specialised valves so has multiple uses. 5 out of 5."
"A brief tip for DIY'ers (professionals please ignore this as you will undoubtedly already have the full range of necessary tools):
I bought one of these a while ago mistakenly believing that it would be 'universal' and would fit all modern rad valves. I was surprised when I recently bought a 15mm drain off valve from Screwfix and then found that this spanner didn't fit. As a DIY'er, I didn't have the correct one so had to go and buy another one from a different supplier as Screwfix didn't sell one that fits the rad valves that they sell.
However, if it is the size you want, its a sturdy tool and reasonably priced for the quality."
