"I received these pins in the post and i must say that my eyes have never seen such beautiful pins the whole wide world. These pins are much more superior then the rival enemy pins When my hammer stroke the head of the pin, the noise it produced will stay with me for ever. Please have trust in these little gems and you will feel the joy I felt.
"what can i say they are pins, however there was two big lumps of metal inside the bagi purchased, which adds to the bag weight meaning you get less pins for your money, but hey im not really worried i had more than enough for the job"
"Several of the heads are not formed properly and have to be discarded. This is not conclusive to fine work. Painin the the neck picking one up to use and having to throw it in the scrap bin. The 19mm pins I had were the same so must be a problem with the manufacturing process. Approx 1% are defective. It would be nice if screwfix passed this info on to their supplier for rectification."
"As stated by other reviewers these pins are poor quality, but what do you expect for the price. I needed some pins to hold the hardboard on the back of some picture frames, for this they were adequate. You'll reject a lot though, I used about 60 and had at least a 20% reject rate, mainly due to pins with heads at each end or no head at all! About 40% of the ones used had deformed heads. Overall they are ok for rough work but not a lot else.
As you can see I've only given 1 star for Features, Performance and Reliability. What more can I say, only that the review insisted I fill in these fields for a veener pin!!
"The first 10 pins out of the bag had lumps of the plating material hanging off so once the pins were 5-10mm into the wood then the pins just bent because you were striking the head off centre. This was just tapping them into a relatively softwood with a panel pin hammer too.
I gave up after pulling them all out and took them back for a refund. Cheap and lots of them but a waste of time if you have to pull out 75%+ of them."
