Customer Reviews for JSP Anti-Mist Pro Safety Goggles
"Bought these and was impressed. I was sanding some polyester resin/fibreglass. I have previously had problems with goggle steaming up. These didnt, also they seemed to have a soft fit. The wrap round gave me good peripheral vision unlike others were its like looking through a small hole.
Slight problem like another reviewer with the elastic feels like it may be not as robust as it ought to be."
"I bought this mask for a job in involving sanding areas of a painted ceiling. It performed far better than any other mask I've used, fitting tightly yet conformably to keep all dust particles out. The lens didn't mist up at all, which has been a problem with just about every other make. Highly recommended if you need eye protection."
"Having just recovered from Ophthalmic Shingles and been told not to get anything in the affected eye, goggles were needed as I got to grips with an overgrown and dead shrub. Nothing too dear as they won't get used too often but comfortable. These goggles fit the bill perfectly not too dear, comfortable once you have adjusted the headband and with plenty of room to accommodate glasses. Are comfortable in use don't get too steamed up or leave you feeling all sweaty round the eyes whilst giving a good seal against dust and other detrius"
"i bought these as i had to cut some concrete with a diamond cutter, i used them with a dust mask and ear defenders and they didnt mist up of become uncomfortable. A little pricey for what they are though"
"Wearing glasses doesn't affect the amount they steam up, but they do steam up, especially if you're wearing a basic dust mask that doesn't seal properly around the nose. Nothing to be done about that though as that's the dust mask's fault. These are really nice goggles - very comfy and plenty of space for my specs. Not quite Dennis Taylor capacity but you should get in even the most geeky/grandad-esque pair of ordinary bins."
"Adjustable head band gave a good seal to forehead and cheeks. Wonderfully crystal clear. Once removed it tended to roll onto lens, so with care one should maintain the clarity. Unfortunately I scratched mine, the lens material is very soft. Anti misting was very good too when using dust mask. However it slips up when using fuller mask (eg when spraying noxious chemicals) and it can then mist up. Overall very glad that I purchased this product."
"Bought the goggles for angle grinding and wire brushing some wrought iron gates. Somehow my old ones had gone missing. Worked very well, even when used on a pretty warm day and while wearing specs there was no problem with steaming up, which is what normally happens. Light and comfortable to wear for extended periods."
"Good price, good product and the havnt steamed up once! even with the dust mask on, i cant comment on how they are with spec's cos i dont wear them but the only quibble is they dont fit perfectly round my nose but maybe this will change when they get worn in a little more or maybe its my fault for havin a big nose! Either way they work very well and were well worth a fiver."
"Wearing safety glasses is an essential is you like the idea of ensuring that your eyes won't get damaged by dust or splinters so any glasses are good.
These are great for keeping out dust but misted up quickly and were difficult to use when also wearing a dust mask around nose and mouth - too many straps and they overlap on the nose.
For very dusty jobs a better option would be one of the full face masks - and although the one I like is £90 if it keeps my eyes and lungs free of nasty stuff then its worth it - and have just bought the Draeger Full Face Mask"
