"Does what it says it does really. A little tricky to bend and shape to the right angles but with care you can get there. I found the vent cover screw points a little close to the edge of the hole in the wall but I think that would be the same for any vent like this. Also a lot cheaper than any other other DIY chains."
"Cooker hood kit did the job and is working well, only thing was the ducting tends to compress out of shape if you are trying to get round an obstacle or through a tight space. Apart from that would buy again."
"The duct is made from five or so parallel strips of wire encassed in aluminium. This is then spiral wrapped around itself and the seams glued together. When trying to stretch it out you will either crush the center section repeatedly or rip open one of the seams and unravel part of it. I did both and never managed to get it anywhere near 1.5 m long. If you have a 1m run or less then this should be fine but it is difficult to expand so be careful."
"Use a piece of 100mm plastic pipe through the wall. This will mate with the spigot on the outer cover. Use a 100mm connector to join the plastic to the aluminium. The plastic will fit core drill holes."
