Box for many purposes

"Had one of these boxes previously but needed to replace it due to theft. Perfect for those tools which do not come with a carry case. Would certainly recommend these boxes. Tough, sturdy, roomy, lockable with a padlock and easily stored. Bloody marvelous."

Compact, spacious robust case.

"I bought his case to house my De Walt percussion drill as the case it came with was a nightmare to pack the drill back in with the mains cable. My old drill case was a cheap, plastic one that just about squeezed everything in yet was too tall to stand upright on my shelves. This case, unlike other mains/rechargeable drill/screwdriver cases, is a good, practical size that's robust and easily fits upright on your workshop shelves. I keep my drill, large box of bits, masonry drills and angled chuck in it with space to spare. Well worth having."

"Excellent case holds 3 Bulldozer Stun Guns + cartridges. Ease of carrying and ability to lock for security is a key feature, also stores in gun cabinet, will be getting another for the 2 Cash Specials."

Great stuff.
1 Aug 2009

"You, like me, are probably frustrated when you buy a drill or other power tool that either doesn't come in a case at all, or comes in an irregularly shaped, blow moulded, plastic monstrosity the size of Cornwall.
These small metal cases solve your problem. They'll fit small power tools - a DeWalt SDS drill fits no problem, as does a cordless drill, plus bits case, charger and spare battery. A heat gun plus scrapers and nozzles also fits in one no problem, as does a sander. You won't fit stuff like a recipro saw in though.
You can also padlock the boxes.
They're also red. The first one I bought had the Screwfix logo painted on, subsequent ones are plain.
Overall, a good value, sturdy steel storage case, and all being the same size, eases stacking."

Cheaply made but does the job

"I'm not to sure what to think of this. The catches and padlock attachment are rather thin and can bend easily. Also I've found that when it gets warm in the back of the truck the metal expands, making it hard to open the lid."

Good n solid

"I now have 3 of these & they do make it easy to store & transport your power tools but.
#They could do with some of that heavy duty sponge type stuff so you could cut out the shape of you tool in it as I have done.
#If this can't be supplied with the box maybe Screwfix could look into getting some in as an extra.
#I have still rated it high as it's such a good product

A little too small

"This tool box is a great colour but a little too small even for my small power drill. Unfortunately it can't stand as shown in the picture due to the protruding hinge."
