I run an engineering firm and we use ALOT of drill bits. We found ourselves short 10.5 HSS bits that we needed to get a rush job out. I opted for two of these cheap sets hoping that they would last long enough to complete the job. Well we only used one and the bit is till going strong.
Very tough, very sharp.
I highly recommend these bits"

Review 2 for HSS Metal Boxed Drill Bit Set Metric 25 Piece Set
"I am quite impressed with this set of drill bits. I wasn't expecting too much as they were quite cheap but I was pleasantly surprised. They are very good bits and as long as you take care with the smaller bits they will last a fare time.
At the end of the day these are pretty good bits at a very reasonable price."

Review 10 for HSS Metal Boxed Drill Bit Set Metric 25 Piece Set
"Took a punt on these for £12 as I wanted a set of "day to day" drill bits.
Firstly the price is excellent. Don't think you will find a 25pc drill set in a solid metal tin in too many places for £12.
Performance. Well I wasn't expecting miracles but was pleasantly surprised. I put the 10mm bit in my drill press and proceeded to drill a half inch block of galvy steel I had. No pilot hole, straight in with the 10mm. I ran the drill press slow at 300rpm and used oil to cool the bit during. Happy to say it cut through the steel no problem. Nice spirals coming off. Did a few more identical holes and inspected the tip. No sign of wear and it still felt sharp.
If you treat these bits correctly they will do their intended job time and time again just fine. No doubt if you spin these up fast and go attacking stainless they will blunt very quickly. But then again so will any HSS bit. Treat them correctly and they are great for plastic, wood, mild steel, aluminium, copper, brass. Don't try and cut tool steel, stainless or spring steel with them because they aren't going to work. If you want to drill the very hard stuff your going to need to spend the money on a good set of cobalt bits. But you can use these for everything else and in turn save using your expensive cobalts for when they are required."
