"I know this is just a bucket but they are very good, As a builder & landscaper i use (go through) a lot of buckets and yes i have payed less but they haven't been as good as these, Used these to do a small mix of bonding, skim & morter, Defo worth buying."
"Well actually five buckets, and pretty average ones at that.
These types of buckets are considered consumables to most in the building trade as they either split, the handles break off or they just get 'crudded' up with cement or mud and are not worth cleaning out. These ones from Screwfix are not any better or worse than any others you will find, but they are great value for the quality you do get.
Note that Screwfix must have multiple suppliers as they sometimes supply buckets with parallel sides and a wider rim than usual. Those ones are superb for mixing paint and plaster, but it seems pot luck which style you get."
"Needed the buckets for an urgent emergency job...so a Screwfix branch (Epsom) was the most convenient. System indicated 5 in stock, turned out they only had 4. Was in a rush so decided to collect the outstanding one the next day..
But the quality of the buckets were so cheaply made that I did not bother to pick up the outstanding one.
Also, I could've got better qualities buckers from virtually next door for half that price. Gutted"
