"I brought this for a customers bathroom after the expensive suite she ordered didn't come with one t does exactly what it says on the tin it comes with the extra feature and its a great price too well recommended"
"After reading a lot of the previous reviews I was close to not ordering this. However, glad I did. Trap assembly was simple, no leaks, cross threading etc.. Added PTFE tape to all threads, including sink plug waste before installing.
Have left it a month before writing this review, and so far good as when it was fitted."
"I bought one of these as it was the perfect small size to fit a wall hung vanity unit under a wash hand basin. Unfortunate it was poorly made and the first thread was out of shape so wouldn't go on the sink. I took it back and the replacement was all scuffed down one side, luckily I checked it while at Screwfix so could return it immediately. I'm now going to source one from elsewhere. It's all well that the item is cheap, but quality control isn't in evidence so check this carefully or you might have another trip back to Screwfix."
"For such a simple piece of engineering it makes a terrible job of drainage over time.
We have half a dozen waste traps throughout the house and this one is the only one that ever needs clearing. About every 3-4 months the flow just gets slower and slower and it needs removing, thoroughly cleaning of crud (lovely job), and replacing.
This is used on an ensuite basin, where the usage is me shaving (soap + stubble!) and hand washing. The narrowness of the path by which the waste exits the trap just invites gradual blockage
It's been in for 12 months and I've had to clean it 3 times, so I'm not very impressed."
"Should have read the reviews. Spent half an hour trying to fit this, The threads on the basin connector are very soft so as you tighten it up it jumps . I found it impossible to screw it on square. Gave up in the end and bought another make which went on first attempt."
"As per many other reviews, although some for the 40mm version etc, this product leaks everywhere. An hour re-doing every connection and checking the seals over and over....and it still p'd water everywhere. If it wasnt so cheap it'd be going back!"
