"This was bought to put a hole in the side of a water butt for the pipe, with some trepidation about how well it would work or last. Knife through butter would be apt and still looks brand new. Cheap as chips to boot, couldn't have been better."
"Bought these to assist fitting ball ends on decking posts. Needed 38mm but did the job using these and a 38mm hole saw. Ran hole saw in then took core out with drill, used hinge cutter to tidy up, job done thanks Screwfix #savedtheday"
"I've bought several Titan badged wood drill bits recently and they've been a bargain. Cheap price but sound performers. The way this is patterned is identical to those - so my guess is Screwfix have got Titan 'own-branding' for them.
Anyway, I needed to drill a 32 mil hole into a laminate door to put a lock in and this did the job perfectly - Accurate, smooth, nicely edged hole.
At this price I wouldn't have lost sleep had it been a case of ue it once then chuck it, but other then the dust there's nothing to indicate its been used."
"Needed a 32mm wood drill bit for making holes in a home made bird box. Compared Screwfix with the big sheds and this one came in about 70% cheaper than any other source! For the few holes I needed to drill in 20mm thick wood it was absolutely fine."
"We drill a lot of joists daily and we find the tips go first. But we can still use the flat bits in this range after losing the tips, and the bits can last a long time if you dont hit any nails or to many knots. Cheap enough to thro away and use another bit."
