"Being careful with my tile order I am having to shave off 2/5 mm, too small for the tile cutter. Scribe on tile cutter then nibble away the waste, grind off any snags with a floor stone,. A perfect job. Ideal DIY tool"
"Tiling a downstairs loo, so quite a few tiles had to be cut in weird shapes. Didn't even use the scribe I bought. Just marked the area in pencil and started nipping away. Never broke a tile, or had extra come off that I hadn't intended to.
"Had these for some time and nip as good as the day I bought them. Would benefit from having a bolt to join the arms so that sharpening is a bit easier, but at £6.99 I reckon times thay need sharpening, you can throw them and get another pair."
"Although these nippers have done the job, they were just "okay" and nothing special.
In fact after nipping only a couple of tiles I noticed that the edges of the nippers had chipped off?! The tiles I was nipping are only little 5mm metro tiles...?! This made nipping neatly a struggle. I must admit for this reason I was disappointed in the quality of the product."
"One of the tungsten tips chipped off on the first porcelain tile. This rendered the tool unusable. Perhaps I was unlucky but it seems like other reviewers had the same experience. Hopefully, I can return them as they haven't performed as they should have."
"bought these to tile a bathroom, luckily it was a one off job because thats how long they lasted. the tungsten tips broke off when i was halfway through the job. should have seen it coming to be honest, you get what you pay for."
