"Bought these to replace previous pair which had worn out. Used to get the better of nettles, brambles and even barbed wire. Great protection. Not really into welding but great value and keep hands warm!"
"I bought these gloves to start making my own fishing leads, and so far they have worked admirably. The gloves seem good quality with adequate stitching and no visible flaws externally, the inner part is comfortable apart from one slight flaw on the left-hand little finger, where it catches on the material slightly, only a minor grumble though.
The gloves work well in preventing heat conduction, especially when in contact with hot moulds for extended periods, and offer all the protection I require. I'm glad I didn't opt for the more expensive versions as these tick all the boxes"
"Bought my first pair of these for welding and they were fine. Also used them as general purpose gloves for handling, gardening, chainsawing etc and they are so good I now don't use any others. Have now bought several pairs and they last quite well in general use, but do discard when the stitching starts to fail otherwise you can get quite a surprise the next time you weld - a bead of molten steel through the hole causes the wearer to perform a very lively and amusing dance!! Fortunately nobody videoed the performance!"
"They'll never get anywhere near a welder, but these are a great way to get to grips with brambles and thorns in the garden.
A fraction of the cost of decent gardening gloves these will keep out all but the most determined of thorns. Although bear in mind they are not particularly flexible making more dexterous tasks tricky."
"Must be my 6th or 7th purchase. I use them round the farm for clearing brambles, blackthorn, etc. plus barbed wire. And around the bonfire. And sharpening the chainsaw. And many other jobs. Have a box of them and when the stitching breaks or a hole appears, chuck it and get another."

Review 10 for Keepsafe Welders Gauntlets Red Large
"I have been using welding gauntlets for opening my wood-burning stove for many years and found these to be cheaper than what I have previously used. There was no visible fault with the product and I continue to use them every day for a month and they've not shown any signs of wear yet.
For welders there are certainly more substantial gloves on the market but I know a lot of people use these for the same purpose as I do- and for that purpose they're great!"
