"This style of cable clip has been out for a good number of years now. Although simple in design there are some clip manufacturers that don't come up to the standard these do. The fixing nail is made of good quality steel that can be used into both wood and masonry. The nail does not shatter when being fixed into brick. The shape of the clip will fit around the cable (as long as the clip and cable diameter match) and stay put while the first few blows with the hammer are securing the cable. This saves fingers being accidentally hit with the hammer. The clip plastic is good quality and does not break when unintentionally hit."

Review 10 for Tower Round Cable Clips 6-7mm White Pack of 100
"These clips work well with standard 3 core flex of about 7mm diameter. Do have some degree of flexibility. Plastic part is not brittle. Pins are strong enough not to bend when hammered and hold well in timber. Recommended."
