"I bought two of these to be replacements for 10 year old timer models from the same supplier that had worn out. They work well as described in the advert. My only gripe is that the manufacturer has changed the screw hole and the cable entry locations This meant that I had to carve up my brand new devices before fitting. Unlike other reports these do not protrude any further into the room than the originals ."
"manrose axial fan is a reliable good value bathroom fan , as good as other fans costing a whole lot more, easy to install . clear diagams and easily read instructions . once again screwfix hit the right note!!!"
"Please note that this product picture is wrong, it actually looks like the picture for product:- 36536 and 62530
I have used these for years and found them to be excellent. Basically the same as an ordinary extractor fan, however this model has an additional Humidistat within it. The unit can be set for both humidity level and also time interval between the humidistat re-sampling the air.
Don't set the humidity sensor too low otherwise when it's rainy the extractor fan comes on.
If you have problems with condensation in a bathroom then install one of these and they'll go away.
Fan can also have a pull cord override, or connected to the light switch.
Only limitation of these it that like most others are not IP rated therefore you have to be aware of building/electrical regulations and don't install in the danger Zones 1,2,3."
"Have installed these before minus humidistat and found them to be excellent but wasn't overly impresseed with this one, stat seems to want to work all the time unless you turn it fully up (95% humidity), not really worth the extra expense"
"I replaced an old Vent Axia on-off fan with one of these to better control humidity in my bathroom. It works very well, and has been in operation for over a year. It fitted the ceiling hole left by the old Vent Axia.
The one trouble I have is that the ducting for the fan could do with extending further through the hole. That way I could attach my duct hose onto the fan without resorting to improvisation."
"Had two of these fans now in my new bathroom. The first one was faulty when first installed so I exchanged it without a problem. The second lasted for about 4 months then the bearings started to make a racket then it wouldn't switch off automatically. Seemed like a good fan at first but has proved useless in the long run. Look for something a little bit more expensive and it should last longer."
