"As a keen amateur photographer I was delighted to find this product was being sold for a very reasonable price as have been looking for one for a while. My photography mainly centres around wildlife and I wanted something to detect what was around certain areas so i knew where to head with the camera. I am surrounded by countryside so have a vast area to cover and this means I can monitor areas even when I'm not there.
The things i like about this product are •Both photo and video footage can be captured with this device. •It works both during the day and at night. •You can set time periods that you wish the camera to be active or just let it run 24 hours a day. •The device runs on 4 AA batteries but seems to use barely any power as have been running it for a few weeks now and am still on nearly full. •The product is supplied with a memory card. •It is made from tough heavy duty plastic so is pretty sturdy. •It could make a good security camera for monitoring a garden or driveway for someone wanting a cheaper alternative to CCTV
The only drawbacks I can find with the product are •The strap supplied is not as secure as I would have likes so have been using cable ties (also bought from Screwfix). •It can be chained up using a padlock but it has to have a small shank as the anchoring points are limited. •The lens does steam up in certain weathers however it seems to clear reasonable quickly.
Overall I am very happy with the product and am considering getting another as so far the results have been great."

"I ordered 2 of these to take pictures of wildlife. So far both have failed after a couple of days (nothing to do with batteries) Screwfix replaced them and now those replacements are going glitchy (some times they work and some times they don't ). If they were more reliable they would be great but too keep sending them back makes me think the problem is in the design/ build rather than me getting a dud one. I'll keep sending them back until I get 2 good ones. Cost me nothing to do so!"
