"This flexible pan connector was perfect for moving the pan over to centralise it in the room. Be aware though that if your customer puts oven cleaner or caustic soda down the loo it is not likely to survive!!!"
"Good value but the supplied rubber connector for the spigot is cheap and I usually chuck this and replace it with a better one. Allows for toilet outlets having different heights from the soil stack so it does its job well."
"A must carry spare for all you plumbers out there, when your in the situation were it all seems to be going wrong, Pan Connection doesn't meet Soil pipe Connection etc, this very adaptable and easy to use solution is at your mercy. Excellent working ability and good length too."
"This is a nice, reliable product, but be warned that it doesn't fit all loos. The connector diameter is just a little too small for some loos. So check it slides all the way on to the soil pipe before you install."
"As mentioned in other reviews this part does not give as much adjustment as you might expect, as it doesn't extend very much and the concertina compresses quite quickly so very sharp bends are not possible. The seals did not give much confidence, but appear to have sealed fine."
"I'm not sure if it was the fact that we were fitting a close coupled toilet that went right back to the wall or that the fitting was just too stiff but it took us nearly four hours of fighting to get the connector into the soil pipe. And my partner was straddled around the toilet for most of that time, we eventually went on the screwfix forums for some tips and tried putting the seal in boiling water for a few minutes and putting some washing up liquid in the pipe, it worked, so thanks to those who gave the tips. if it had not have gone in after that the thing was going in the bin and we would have tried another make.
Overall the pipe was a bit stiff to be able to bend the amount we needed in the space provided, it is also not very long so only just made it into the soil pipe in the floor. The pan end of the connector was also not the best, but fortunately for us, once it was in place it wasn't going anywhere as it was wedged in place but i would imagine it could come off quite easily if it was going into a horizontal fitting and was not supported.
I would definitely try to get a more flexible pipe next time around and one that had a better fitting on the pan just to be sure it doesn't come off."
"As already pointed out by melmac the pan seal isnt the best and in some circumstances could leak. The other seal on the soil pipe end isn't fixed to the flexy pipe and pulled off on me and could have caused a mess as it is located behind a wall, I stuck it on with silicone sealer. A good idea just poorly made."
