"Used it to check the torque values of wheel nuts at 180 Nm - not trivial. Performed well in a way that gave me confidence. Feels good, settings seem about right and are easy to set.
There is some doubt from previous reviews about what "reversible" means. There is a ratchet lever on the device that allows it to apply turning pressure anti-clockwise, but this does not allow torque to be set - it's merely a long spanner when undoing or doing up left hand threads.
Have not tested the converter socket, but I used the extension, which seems fine. I can't comment on reliability (only bought it yesterday!) but the site insists I score it."
"Good quality torque wrench and feels good quality for the price. Comes in case, with extension bar and reducer, so for the money you can't beat it. Only 3 stars on reliability as I've only used it twice"
"I've only used this a couple of times so far, but it has performed very well. So far, reliability is excellent, but time will tell of course. Instructions could do with being clearer, but were 'adequate'. Looking at some of the other reviews, complaints about the 3/8 adapter shearing off - but sounds like this was being used for jobs which were beyond the spec for smaller sockets ... I wouldn't think of putting that much force on a small bolt or small socket! The reversible ratchet allows it to be used on left-hand or right-hand threads, or for undoing bolts (set the torque slightly higher than it was done up with). Very happy so far with my purchase."
"Just bought my second of these torque wrenches and can't praise them highly enough. Great value for money, a decent range and works well. Also comes with an adapter for smaller sockets and an extension bar for hard to reach places."
"Just what I needed at a bargain price. Other well known places were selling similar torque wrenches for £70+. Why spend so much if this does the job. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. Comes in a nice sturdy plastic carry case with the handy adapter and extension bar."
