"I have bought and fitted many of these over the years, and never had a problem with them. The hex section in the middle makes them easy to hold sitill with a spanner whilst tightening the end nuts on the olives. A quality product whiuch I will continue to chose over cheaper alternatives."
"I've fitted hundreds of these valves and never had one failure, the hexagonal central body enables you to grip the valve securely whilst tightening the compression nuts, Excellent! I also use Pegler's Full Bore Lever Ball Valves as well which I can't fault either!"
"I stopped fitting vanilla cheap isolating valves years ago after finding too many that leak as soon as you touch them (generally ones fitted in the hardest places to replace!). These are pretty good: a bit more expensive but worth it for the reliability. And the spanner-friendly hexagonal body makes fitting easier."
"Previous service valve leaked when I turned it off for a tap repair. On inspection, the old one (from Screwfix) was seriously pitted and corroded on the ball of the valve. This time I bought the higher priced Yorkshire brand, so I hope it is made of more water friendly metal. Time will tell Don't know how to score the star ratings. Based upon the old fitting, it should get no stars at all. Lets hope this turns out to be a five star purchase."
"Have used lots of these, generally have been very good, just one batch had a few problem ones. Expensive, but there aren't many isolating valves available that are WRAS approved . The best I have found so far !."
