"Throw away your J301's and your choc boxes! These, combined with WAGO cage-clamp or push-wire connectors, make complex jointing easy and secure - used them a lot on fiddly downlighter installations where you need a six-terminal JB but cannot use one due to Wiring Regs' requirement for screwed connections to be accessible. These can be concealed once finished [with due regard to safe zones, of course], as they are classed as maintenance free. They'll fit through a downlighter cut out, too, so if you need to make changes or additions to lighting circuits you can pull them down. Excellent in every way."
"Very well thought through, easy to use and good value. I have never been sure how tight to make screw terminals - that worry is now removed All my screw terminal boxes are going in the bin! Tip - make sure wire ends are not kinked, bent wire ends get caught when you push them in."
"Has taken me a little while to make the move to these boxes but they are genuinely time savers and make life much easier. They are more expensive than traditional screw terminal jbs but are well worth it. Connections are made outside the box with push fit or cage clamp connectors and then slot into the box - the cable grips take effect when the lid is snapped shut."
"if you use wago connectors then these are fantastic, they have an intergrated cable grip and are very easy to use, screwfix are by far the cheapest to buy these from if you can use all 10 boxes, i use to pay between £1.70-2.20 per box. would definatly recommend if you use wago fittings. you can also buy a pack of brackets to hang/hold these, 10 are about £1.20.... well worth the money"
