" Used on a deck sub-frame.
Not sure of really needed given the amount of extra support applied, but they are easy to use and give an extra `peace of mind`
Used the Square Twist Sheradised 3.75 x 30mm 1kg Pack Product Code: 12788 with these. "

Bit pricey

" I bought them to reinforce some odd corners in the frame of a shed I'm building. They're easy to cut, easy to bend and do the job but should they really be costing nearly 50p each? "

You get what you pay for

" The packs I bought were only 0.7mm thick (not the 1mm advertised).
They've no declared load rating but seemed strong enough for my use (roof joist to bearer connection).
The corners are very sharp, so beware, or take a file to them.
The punched hole patterns are randomly mirror imaged, so anchor nails from opposite sides of a joist may coincide (encouraging splitting) unless pairs are chosen with care.
So, the price is low but so is the quality. Worth considering if used with care. "
