"Title bears no relation to the ease in fitting awning - just to the fact that it finally stopped raining. Easy to fit - suggest buying a 14mm dia masonary drill bit as you will need it. As with Raingod's review I also fitted it higher than stated in instructions but this was to match neighbours ones as not to look out of place. Note: you can adjust the angle of the awning to improve shade recomend this as a two man job to ensure it is level. Instructions not clear on this but a competent diy'er will work it out. Great product and delivery service"
"Mounted above new french doors onto rear patio to provide shade, which it does well. Can be mounted single handed, but is rather heavy. Simple to fit, but I would suggest you mount it at the lower end of the height range refered to in the instructions of 2.5m - 3.5m to provide the maximum shading. I initially mounted it at 3m which was way too high. Be aware that once the mounting anchor bolts are set into the wall they are not removable. A range of replacement bolts are however available from Screwfix. Good product that does the intended job."
