" First one arrived slightly damaged so I returned it to the store and a new one was sent out the next day. Simple to fit and looks good although no cover to hide the workings of the light.Still everybody impressed by its looks "

Looks nice but at a price
18 Sep 2012

" installed this recently for a customer of mine who wanted a nicer looking tube for use in a kitchen and there seems to be very limited choice in this market. I'd happily use this product again for my customers, but I wouldn't buy it myself, the price just doesn't add up for me.
its well over twice the price of the standard slightly squarer traditional fitting, and doesn't even come with decent internals. Electronic ballasts are much better, lighter, energy efficient, instant on, no flickering, more reliable and no need for separate starters. I'd rather have this and a normal looking fitting at half the price.
top tip: always go for "tri phosphor" tubes where available, much better. "
