"Whilst described for use with MDF, decided to get this rather than the disposable ones for taking down a lathe and plaster ceiling. Anyone who has taken down one of these ceilings will know the amount of dust and debris created, the mask was superb, absolutely no issues with dust. The mask has a gel like mould for nose and mouth which forms a nice barrier around your face, also stops any misting up on the googles which is an added bonus. Straps ensure plenty of adjustment. Highly recommend."
"I don't know how often I took this mask off and was shocked by how dust, smell etc that was there around me, but had been stopped by this mask. I am amazed at what these filters can do, and the mask is well designed to fit tightly. Never had a problem with this one."
"I was a bit dubious as I have a longish beard and thought I would have to shave it off. However following the instructions I got a good seal and experienced no ill effects from burning off old, probably lead paint. Comfortable to wear and do not steam up the glasses, but straps loosen themselves each time you take it off. A minor complaint. Disappointing that you have to throw the whole thing away after 28 days. Why not replaceable filters? I have tried vacuum sealing in a plastic bag in an attempt to extend life, if only as protector against dust rather than fumes."
"Don't waste your money on cheap, press fit dust masks when you can have this great value, close fitting mask that really will filter out nuisance dust and vapours. I've used this mask for protection on a wide variety of jobs from cutting mdf, to grinding and cutting steel to spraying volatile paints or using solvents (in well ventilated areas).
For heavy work it can leave you looking like a member of the Ant Hill Mob for a short while after use due to sweat marks but that's a small price to pay for healthy lungs."
"As an MDF mask it does it's job but the simple elastic headband can only be described as a pain! Fits poorly adjustments won't stay as set so have to keep taking off to readjust (defeats the object in a dusty MDF filled workshop) the company previously supplied this mask with a plastic upper headband which worked much better."
"Please don't buy this JSP dust mask. Its not fit for purpose. I feel as if I have been robbed. Last year I bought a similar dust mark for £9 and it served me well. This time I spent £16.99, hoping to get a better product. This mask is so uncomfortable, kept slipping down and letting dust in. and as I had to struggle with what I was doing and trying to put the mask properly over the nose and mouth. It left some ugly bruises on my nose. I wish that I can get a refund. I needed a dust mask to wear everyday at work, but only managed to use this one twice....dont buy this JSP dust mask or you might regretit"
