"I was looking for a small 90 deg aerial mast to mount a small weather station on the side of a shed. Ordered online, reserved and collected at my local Branch, did this because of low stock levels indicated at local stores and wanted to avoid an abortive journey.
Easy to fit and provides a perfectly stable mount for the wind anemometer above the roofline of the shed. So an ideal inexpensive solution for me."
"Used tis to instal an aerial in a loft. The shape allowed it to be screwed to the rafters with the aerial attached to the othe end of the mast.It comes with fixing brackets which allow some movement in its orietation. Worked well and not much cost."
"Purchased this to support a small log periodic TV aerial. It is easy to install, solidly constructed and is supplied with four heavy duty hexagonal (10mm) head screws and good quality wall plugs should you require them. The bracket allows several mounting options and grips the pole well by means of a u-bolt and wing nuts. Very good quality overall. Only 3 stars for features but to be fair - what features would one expect on a TV pole?"
"Not hugely confident this will last but we will see. Had to tighten wing nuts a lot to get it hold aerial tight, by which time the clamp had mis-formed it's shape - but was still clamped tight. Time will tell after a storm"
"Very lightweight item, only suitable for a very light aerial. Bought for a weather station as per other reviews. No way strong enough to carry the weather station sensors, soon became loose and would certainly not stand up strong winds ! Fine for a small light TV aerial, but that's all. Disappointing purchase, had to buy a stronger bracket."
"The mast slots into the wall bracket and a U bolt hold the mast in place. The mast swivels in the wall bracket even in low winds once the aerial is attached and no matter how tight the wing nuts on the U bolt are tightened. It may be OK in a loft but it is no use outside."
