"I was looking for a dark green wood preservative and this is it - almost a perfect match for my water butt! The can needs shaking before use to mix up the pigment, and the liquid is thick enough not to be too runny when brushed on. The coverage is excellent both in terms of quantity and opacity. I gave the back of my garage, which is wood cladded and has a wood door, 2 liberal coats and I've only used about an inch from the top of the can! Brushes are easy to wash out in warm soapy water after removing excess e.g. with newspaper. I almost wish I had some more cladding to paint! As I've just used this I cannot comment on the longevity of effectiveness as a preserver but I have no reason to believe it won't be as effective as competing products. Shelf life is stated to be up to 2 years so I'll probably never use it up before it goes off, unfortunately."
