"Excellent block, used for supplying 2 consumer units with 25mm tails- note that screws need to be backed right out to accomodate 25mm tails ( i removed screws completely to ensure i could see that the copper was fully seated in both screw holes then re-inserted screws very tight as I was paranoid they would drop out.) Had no issues"

Review 2 for 2 x 5-Way DP 100A Service Connector Block 35mm²
"After struggling with the existing one on a job I installed this instead found it easy to fix knock outs are hard but 10mm drill bit on it takes it out clean it fits 25mm tails comfortably with other sheath.
The previous comment said the entry holes were only 9mm mine were at least 10mm was probably talking about the 25mm not this 35mm one."

Review 6 for 2 x 5-Way DP 100A Service Connector Block 35mm²
Cable entry holes are 10.7mm so should take 25mm² outer sheath OK if fully opened out (see below)
THINGS TO NOTE Terminal block holes are 9mm but the screws have the first part of the thread plain so the full diameter can’t be used
Fixing holes are flat-bottomed for pan-head screws
POOR Base of the one I bought was distorted and proud at the centre so needed filing to sit flat
Cable entry knockouts don’t punch out cleanly and need filing
Fixing screw holes need to be drilled out
No marking or instruction to say to Live goes at bottom, Neutral at top
No marking or instruction giving the cable stripping lengths
BAD Cover doesn’t sit properly due to what seems to be a tooling modification to enable the use of a seal on the screw. It’s more than possible that over-tightening the screw would crack the cover. A few minutes work with a Dremel-alike sorted it but I’m not entirely happy with the fit of the cover
WOULD I BUY AGAIN? I’d look at the competition next time unless the cover issue is sorted
