" I have used theses switches on a number
of electronic doors to release / open.
Good quality switch for the price. You will be hard pressed to find such a good purchase at
this price.

Total rubbish
10 Mar 2015

" I bought 5 of these for my garage doors and entry gate. The 2 that I have fitted have caused me so much grief. Firstly, the press spring seems to stick. You press and you have to assist it to return. Then we noticed that my garage door would open of it's own accord. We would wake up to find the door wide open. It only came to me that the issue could be the PRESS switch when my wife said she couldn't open the garage door at all via remote control or the house press switch (which is a proper one) that I realised that the new PRESS switch that I fitted in the garage was not fully depressed and was making contact. Once it returned it to it's "OFF" position, the door operated again.
Total rubbish. DON'T BUY.
I shall be returning these to Screwfix. But I will buy a proper replacement and this time it will be a well known brand of quality.
