Flexible uses

"Used this 500mm Flexi tap connector when installing a replacement expansion tank (18l, 1.5 bar) in my sealed (unvented) CH and HW system. Old tank had burst membrane and had been installed upside down. This flexi tap connector gave me the extra reach and flexibility to install the (larger size) replacement the correct way up without needing any additional fittngs or extending the 22mm copper pipe.
System working fine but too soon to meaningfully comment on performance and reliability."

"Bought a couple of these for connecting new bath to existing plumbing. They went in like a dream, and at least 50% cheaper than DIY sheds!"

Flexie tap connector
22 Feb 2012

"Flexi tap connectors seem to have been with us forever, but in reality it's quite a recent innovation, which allows a compression connection from a supply pipe to the outlet, even under the most winding of paths, without the previous hassle of bending, soldering, swearing and a pile of knackered copper pipe. It's true that once youve seen one you've seen them all. It's also true that they're much of a muchness. Reliability and construction seem standard, I've never had one fail. What isn't standard however is the PRICE. Here Screwfix score big time. If you don't believe me, buy them elsewhere..and see your costs
soar.
