"If using this on barrier pipe that has been coiled the pressure of the coiled pipe dosent allow you to cut square, you really need to make sure that the pipe is flat with no pressure on it otherwise it don't cut very well"

Review 9 for Rothenberger Plasticut Plastic Pipe Cutter 15mm
"Hardly an expert plumber and nearly 20 years since I last used a similar tool, which I borrowed from a neighbour. That had a metal body and was excellent for cutting. Sadly this plastic bodied version is possibly the worst tool I've ever bought. Rather than cutting a clean round groove it spiralled down (or up) the pipe and proved impossible to hold in a consistent position - I think the plastic body just flexed too much. Fortunately I tried (lots of times) on a pipe I hadn't fitted before abandoning and resorting to a hack saw blade (which worked fine). Clearly others have managed but I'd suggest either pay the extra for the metal bodied version or don't bother at all."
