"Needed eye and face protection to wash and stain old fence. This was so good that I did not know I had it on until I went to itch my nose to find the shield was in place. When finished wiped splashes off with tissue."
"Got this as protection on hot summer days from midges while cycling along the river. They just bounce off the visor and are deflected over your head. Considering you can run through thousands of midges this makes cycling a pleasure again. It is lightweight, comfortable and secure. You may get funny looks from others, until they too encounter the midges…"
"I wanted protection today when cutting metal with my new Bosch grinder. Most face shields at this price do not have good impact protection (Should be a 'B after the EN166 fo that , as this one has). Ordered this morning (Sat.) and picked up from Leeds depot 20mins later. Very please with it!"
"A real bargin-the guard does exactly what it says on the tin.Fits nicely and gives great overall eye and face protection without steaming up.Recommended protection at a cheap price-nice one Screwfix!"
"I had the same problem as one of the other reviewers, the swivels had been assembled wrongly and the visor would not lift up. Took the swivels off and rotated them a quarter turn. I've just got a strimmer and chainsaw so this is essential, and better than safety goggles as I wear glasses. Probably wouldn't stand up to every day industrial use, but fine for occasional use. Good for the money, and as someone else said your eyesight is priceless."
"Wanted this to enable me to strim my grass with a petrol model - the brow guard sits good on my head - once I had worked out all the adjustments. The face area it cover is great and doesn't impede my glasses or fog up when I breathe. Good value for money and I like the flip up mechanism."
"Anyone buying a strimmer MUST buy one of these its silly not to. No mist up easy to put together. Good value. This should be linked directly to the strimmers in fact it should be a MUST purchase for safety alone."
"Fed up with glasses/goggles that steam up, been after one of these for ages. Finally Screwfix started doing these. They're OK, minimal padding on the headband but it does the job. Bit flimsy but what do you expect for the price, hence I bought two. Only fault I've noticed is the visor has marked already which is a bit of a disappointment only after using it routing/sawing wood. Still for the price."
"Product is ok and kept the creosote off my face but the straps that hold it onto your head kept loosening and the actual visor is already cracked after one use and I was VERY careful with it. Wonder if the creosote is the problem but assumed it was made for this kind of thing."
