"This fan was reasonably priced, easy to fit, even the fixing holes matched the previous fan. It is quiet and very effective. Also the Screwfix, click and collect procedure worked perfectly. Ordered on line (click) after lunch day 1 it was in the local shop for collection after lunch day 2. No wait. DIY user."

Review 2 for Manrose MG150BS Long Life Axial Bathroom Extractor Fan
"Its a big fan! Chunky design but looks good on the wall is very powerfull too so dont stand too close to it or you might get sucked in! Good build quality dead easy to install and connect up. IT doesnt have a timer or a humidity sensor so u have to turn it off urself which is what i wanted so thats not a problem for me."

Review 5 for Manrose MG150BS Long Life Axial Bathroom Extractor Fan
"Bought this to replace a 4" fan for my en-suite. The previous fan had a claimed extraction rate of 75³/hr and would not even hold a piece of toilet paper when held directly against the vent.
This 6" Manrose model is approximately 3 times more powerful than the fan it replaced. The en-suite where it is now fitted is approx 1.5m x 2m so its not the biggest space and I was hoping that this more powerful fan would remove all traces of steam whilst in the shower. Sadly this is not the case. It is a distinct improvement over my previous fan but I find that it does not remove enough steam to prevent the mirrors from steaming up during a shower (mirrors used to steam up 100% with old fan and are now closer to about 50%). Fan noise is what I would guess is average for a fan of this size (neither very loud nor quiet and sounds roughly equivalent to the 4" fan which it replaced).
Fitting was really easy, just remove a couple of screws which hold the front fascia in place then connect the live/neutral wires into the terminal block inside the fan. There is no timer or humidity sensor and fan works when light is turned on/off. I had originally planned to replace the 4" diameter ducting in my attic space from my old fan with some new 6" which would normally be required for this sized fan but after taking another reviewers suggestion of using 2 Manrose duct reducers, one from 150mm to 125m (screwfix code 33275) and a second from 125mm to 100mm (screwfix code 10684) I was able to use my existing ducting. These reducers fit the fan perfectly and give a good seal.
Overall fairly happy with this fan as it is a big improvement over my old fan. Can't give any opinion on reliability as it has only been installed for a couple of weeks."
