"This lamp is brilliant (literaly). I used it under the car. Its tough rugged and very bright when warmed up. It doesnt get hot. I also tied it to an old standard lamp pole for portable localised light. A very useful addition to my tool set."
"Got both this and the tripod version, for about a tenner more, you can get the tripod version and as it folds up so small can be used in the same spaces as this one. You will need two for most building, plastering applications NOT HALOGEN AS DESCRIBED but I think these are nearly worth the money. Tungsten is the best artificial light but that is the past, this is not a great light to work by but less heat, less lamp failure and you get used to it. Takes 5 mins to warm up, put the kettle on"
"Good light output. Stand OK but the handle really is rubbish Wouldnt screw together initially, when i finally persuaded it to become one it still was not good Very wobbly still and there is no further way to make it any better. Doubt the handle will last long"
"Sorry, I can't really reccomend this. The cable is too short, the light is cold and blueish and it broke when I put it together. The knob at the bottom broke away from the nut. It was easier to glue it back together rather than take it all apart again and box it up. At least it doesn't fall over easily, but then it can't be easily hung on the wall. It's ok, but not much better than that."
