"Bought this to keep my front door closed to stop our little kids running out into the road.
Fitting only took about 20 minutes, and most of that was reading and deciphering the instructions.
There are the usual 2 adjustments found on the basic "selectable" model, i.e. closing speeds for both the main and last few degrees of closure.
In addition, this "adjustable" version has another screw to set the "backcheck" i.e. to limit how far the door can be opened to minimise the risk of damaging the adjacent wall. Finally, there is an adjuster which accepts a 5mm Allen key, to dial-in the door type, i.e. how heavy and wide it is.
The end results are excellent, although to get the closer to overcome the rather tight brush draught excluder, I had to set the size adjustment so that the door is also rather stiff to open, meaning I had to fit a pull handle in addition to the Yale latch. It still closes incredibly gently and quietly though.
Overall, a very good buy, though I'm not sure it was worth the extra money over the much cheaper standard "selectable" version which I've used elsewhere around the house."
