"Needed a 450mm length bit to drill through a cavity wall for radiator pipe-work. At a cost of c. half the price of this set, it didn't make sense to just buy the required bit. The job was done within a minute and I've now got a comprehensive addition to my tool shed. The plastic storage case is the right size, not too bulky for its contents, which is another plus point. Only purchased and used the once yesterday, so cannot comment on longevity."
"After looking around tying to find a good selection box of sds drills I found this one. It comprises of small drills to the large wall thickness lengths so you have it all in one case. The quality is good and they drill through masonry like cutting through butter whilst clearing debris efficiently. So do your self a favour and get a set today you wont regret it!!."
"Recently I had the (un)happy job of installing CCTV into a building, the only way was all the way through 2 walls, the downside - the CCTV used BNC connectors, meaning the holes needed to be Far Larger than you would normally make, I purchased this set expecting only to have to use the middling size bit, but ended up using pretty much all of the larger & longer bits. Without this set I would have given up. They work well, drill holes and are still straight & useable even after falling off the top of scaffolding!"
"The Titan TTB279SDS comes with quite a large selection of drill bits so I was uncertain if I would need more. Wrong - the first holes I drilled were in stone for 100mm gauge 10 screws to hold wooden gate hinges. There is a standard 100mm gauge 10 bit with the drill, but to get in a wall plug you need to drill about another 10mm. So for the very first holes I needed the extra length bit in this set. The next task was to drill pilot holes for 150mm gauge 6 floor screws. These hold together the floating floor and two layers of wood below. No chance of just using the standard length bit so again the extra length bit in this set was needed.
I have only had the set a week but so far so good."
"This has been a useful set for my house rennovations - the case is a bit cheap and the bits fall out which is a little annoying. The bits seem good quality though. I perhaps would recommend if you needed to use every day all day, but certainly up to the job for infrequent work.
they drill pretty much anythign i have thrown at them"
"Have just bought this set, cheap as chip's,and a reasonable performance for the price paid. A word of warning though, check each bit when You first get them,3 of mine were slightly out of centre/bent,otherwise a good buy"
