"As the other adapter sold on here, does the job fine. Only thing to bare in mind is if you intend to use 25mm MDPE the you will have to get a 25mm to 22mm reducer. Some poeple can't seem to understand this and under rate the product."
"This adaptor worked very well once I’d worked out how to put it together. It may be obvious to the trade, but as this is the first time I've used MDPE connectors, it came as a bit of a challenge. The instructions are very poor so, like a previous reviewer, I ended up going to the FloPlast web site to get a clearer look. What also isn’t clear in the product description, is that these are supposed to replace the internal fittings at one end of a FloPlast connector. You need to take one end of the connector to pieces, and replace all the lugs and washers with parts in this kit.
If your using this underground then this is probably the best product for the job. However, if your use is above ground, then you’ll be better to go for the JG Speedfit version which is a lot simpler; and once you’ve compared the cost of the FloPlast connector + adapter, against the Speedfit version, then there’s not a lot in it - I used both on this installation."
"I bought this kit to reduce a new 25mm incoming pipe to 22mm copper inside the house. What disappointed me was that the instructions inside the packet only showed the insertion of a stainless steel ring to grip the copper pipe with no reference to the rest of the parts. It didn't take long to figure out where everything went, but as I had never used this kit before I wanted to make certain I was doing it correctly.. After trawling the internet I finally found an online technical handbook on the GF website which showed an exploded component view of all the parts in the kit. Why wasn't this included in the packet with all the parts? Not screwfix's fault, but really poor on the part of GF. Anyway, to anyone who has bought this kit...yes, all parts are used and 3 original parts are discarded."
