"I had a celing fan and this was just to noisy as it could be heard all over the house as my down stairs bathroom is in the middle of the house, and have about 4.5m of ducting, the mirror steamed up and the wall had condsation on them, so not much use really but..... I purchased the above fan after reading the reviews and some hessation and WOW so much quiter no more misting up and thats only on the slow speed setting. As other reviews you can hare the air noise being sucked though but its nothing compared to its peformance. Reliability rated at 3 due to only just fitting it, so hard to comment but looks well built and the construction appears to be so much better than these cheap bathroom fans. will be upgrading the other extractor fans in my house now.."
"Previously bought a more expensive fan that was advertised as "ultra-quiet", winner of awards etc etc. The previous fan failed 3 times, each time lasting between 3-8 months before just stopping all together. Got fed up so went for this product, much cheaper, no bells or whistles but as it turns out, this product is just as quiet and cheaper than the previous fan I bought and even has a higher flow rate. Lets just hope this one doesnt also fail, cant tell yet as not been installed for very long. Goes to show the products with the fancy labels and good literature aren't always the better product! (so long as this doesnt fail in the near future that is!)"
"excellent extractor at a good price. relatively quiet in use. Bought this because I specifically did not need a overrun timer so keeps the price down. Choice of 2 speed settings, need to choose one at time of installation. I would always go for the high speed but I must admit at lower speed I could not hear it running at all."
"Bought to replace an in-duct fan of a different make that only lasted 4 months. A fan to clear a bathroom of steam that shorted out due to water/condensation on the circuit board, when it was specifically sold for that purpose! What's that all about. An electrician friend recommended the Manrose model and the reviews looked ok.
Very pleased with the speed of delivery. Email updates on order progress. Ordered at 6.50pm one day and arrived early afternoon the next . Even got a text advising approx delivery time. Came in its own product box rattling round in a bigger box without any protective packing in between, but doesn't seem to have suffered from that.
Fitted and working shortly after. Looks fairly robust and have to say that it was much easier to connect up than the brand x one. Has little idiot labels to show where the respective wires go so no chance of going wrong. Feedback system forced me to enter a value against RELIABILITY, but unfair to comment on really as not been using it for long enough so went for a middle-of-the-road one. No noisy motor; only fan noise from the vent above the shower. I suspend the fan from an attic beam by wires so there is no chance of enhanced noise or vibration in the ceiling, and it also puts a nice slope on the flexi-tube to remove the chance of water lying in dips.
Overall, fairly painless for a first Screwfix purchase so won't hesitate to use them again. As an add on, my electrician friend said their prices are good and I compared against another well known company and he was right."
"We installed the standard model of this fan and it is easy to install and wire in. Very good extraction rate on high setting. Excellent for for bathrooms that could suffer from condensation etc. Customer very happy."
"I have just installed the MF-100 fan. It has 2 speed settings, though only the high speed setting is available if you fit a timer circuit. The motor draws 24W. It is quite a large unit. Installation is simple. The fan is quiet in operation and draws more air through than the old ceiling unit it has replaced. I managed to use the timer circuit from the old fan I took out to keep this unit running for a few minutes after it is turned off. I haven't had it long, so cannot comment about reliability. But so far, I am impressed."

Review 10 for Manrose MF100 W 100mm Mixed Flow Fan
"Bought this to replace a similar inline noisy timer fan. I was impressed with price, very competitive compared to named brands but I note this item is made by a major well known fan manufacturer. No over-run timer on the model I bought but hey ho just leave the bathroom lights on for a bit if you use the switched lighting circuit to supply power.
If you are replacing a tmed model, isolate the permenant live feed and use the switched live feed to turn it on and off.

Review 14 for Manrose MF100 W 100mm Mixed Flow Fan
"I was surprised at the size of this unit having only used those silly little white plastic fans that for me at least, were a complete waste of money. I had two inline for bathroom extraction (no windows) and the result was water stains on the ceiling and drips of water falling from the fan. So, basically they just didn't do the job at all. So I bought one of these solely because of the good reviews but I was still unsure if it was really that good.
I shouldn't have worried because this is one heck of a fan and worth the money, it really works, even on the lower speed it clears all the moist air from my bathroom in about 3 minutes, (the same time as a wet shave) and no more water marks or drips.
Noise: It only seems loud in the bathroom, I think it's just air noise not motor noise, but anyway you can't hear it anywhere else in the house, even at night.
I fitted this myself in the loft but I would suggest getting an electrician to fit it if you are not 100% sure what you're doing, for peace of mind if nothing else.

Review 15 for Manrose MF100 W 100mm Mixed Flow Fan
"Arrived promptly, easy to install. I particularly liked the way you fix the separate cradle and then strap the unit into it. Has two speeds, we have a small bathroom and are using it on the lower speed, keeps everything mist free so probably won't use the higher speed. Just as well as a bit of a task to change between speeds, you basically have to isolate electrics and re-wire unit."

Review 17 for Manrose MF100 W 100mm Mixed Flow Fan
"First things first, there is no timer, the unit is also quite large, so maybe a problem if space is limited, as a stand alone product, it does not comply with the building regs ( due to timer) there is two speeds, which are selected at install, using the neutral termination location, have installed recently a unit and placed it on a wooden platform, after install and testing, the unit is quite, powerful and seams to be built well, the air displacement is so good when installed in a large ( previously a sauna, lol) en suite, the unit really worked well, so the run over controlled by a timer was not needed, the reliability is brilliant as alot have been installed, no call backs yet, if you change the label to another manufacturer the cost would be double, something to think about, its the only fan i would install in my own house and have, hard to beat on : cost, air displacement, reliability, quality of unit build and ease of installation, with a timer this unit would rock, also termination blocks could be bigger, now im just clutchin at straws, to look for drawbacks, lol"
