Best screw for floor boards

"I've found these screws a lot better for screwing down floorboards that ordinary screws like Gold Screws or the like. They screw in faster and the boards don't split easily. Would buy again."

Excellent Screw

"Screw-tite are fast becoming my favourite screw, very reliable and the compound thread makes them very easy to tap in.
These particular screws being the length they are require a decent drill to get home but with the right bit you shouldn't have any problems."

"Screw-tite are becoming a favourite of mine, a little bit pricey but definitely worth it. Very strong screw, taps in perfectly with the right drill bit and holds like no other."

"Great strength screw, used several boxes for my project and not a single problem with any of them. Compound thread really cuts into the wood and pulls it through, just as it states.
As with any screw make sure you have the right drill bit and you won't have a problem

"Great screw, used several boxes of them not one problem with any of them. Fine thread cuts in and the coarse part drags it into the wood. Barely needs any pressure on the drill with the right bit, screws itself.
Good strong screw!"

"I used these along with Turbogold screws to attach softwood battens to Oak. The Screw-tite screws went in faster so if you have loads to do it could save on time and battery power. Very reliable."

"strong, reliable and easy to start. heavy duty great for joists - 8x2 and 6x2 timbers. make sure that the correct driver bit is used or it will mangle the screw head."
