"This was purchased as a gift for me and on opening it I found the air filter had broken off and there was no spare parts list in the box. I've managed to get a new one since. The machine is very good and easy to use."

Review 2 for Stanley Bostitch RC-10-U 10Ltr Roll Cage Air Compressor 240V
"Having recently purchased this item and not having given it a lot of use, yet,i will be giving you my impression so far.I had spent a long time reading reviews and hunting for a suitable compressor [ on ebay etc ] to drive my stapler and brad nailer. Both of which use roughly 1.5 ft/min so fairly basic tools requireing small amounts of intermittent air at between 70 - 90 lbs/sq in.The requirement also was full portability.Having eventually found the Bostitch in the Screwfix book i compared prices and checked reviews on line.It did appear to be just the job for what i wanted it for,[ just to say i have a larger compressor in my garage for spraying etc ] A specific tool for a specific job.I have to say the Screwfix book says that its '' suitable for everyday trade and site use '' i would certainly question this as the handbook says ''this machine has not been designed for use in commercial, trade or industrial purposes and as such the warranty would be voided ,so i would question this statement and certainly argue in the case of a failure with the retailer.[ Screwfix ] It comes with a UNI air connector or should i say in this case two,and a 5 mtr hose, this for me is totally useless as all my tools are PCL I therefore had to remove the former and fit the latter,a very simple job.Anyway it does what it says on the tin and for most of the time doesnt run , when the motor does switch on [ at 8 bar ] it very quickly reaches its 10 bar [ roughly 145 psi ] max very quickly, although i must say also a tad noisely, but so are hammer drills, grinders, etc so who cares. The main thing it does the job perfectly used for its intended use.It has a intermittent operation as on the data plate of S3-25 which means 2.5 mins on 7.5 mins off,so dont try to spray with it even though it puts out about 7.5 cfm it'll cut out if you make it run continuesly,so be warned, and go and buy a big compressor if you want to spray paint ! Would i buy it again ,yes definately. But i hav'nt had it long enough to test its reliability so fingers crossed.Maybe ill re-review it in 6 months time."
