"Made tightening the taps to the basin an absolute breeze.
Had struggled for a couple of hours in a very tight space using other tools, when I gave in and popped to Screwfix to buy this tool. Within 15 minutes of returning home I had both taps firmly attached to the basin and plumbed in - can't recommend this tool more highly."
"Recently had an issue replacing old kitchen taps, had to wait to complete the job until I got hold of one of these. Gets access into those awkward tight spaces up behind a sink or basin that nothing else will reach!"
"i have finally found the answer to many a problem. how to get the tap nuts off when not a lot of room. this is it. why have i not had one of these box spanners before? here we are, easy peesy. well made tool, adequate length to reach most taps. double ended for basin and bath taps. this spanner does exactly what it should. not 5 stars for reliability as new, but your more likely to loose it than have a problem. well recommended."
"Had to remove old taps from an old fragile basin, my usual back nut remover tool would not get near the back nut? purchased this tool and had the taps off in no time and no damage at all to the fragile basin! well recommended!!"
"Got this recently. I've 4 other tap backnut spanners, even the drawdropper - non of which fitted a particular tap. This boxspanner did!!
Another good use, is to put over basin tap spouts to hold the tap while tightening up the backnut (using a different spanner!), gives better leverage for those annoying taps that move as you tighten them up. wrap spout with something first to protect it though."
"Does what it says on the tin but be aware that both ends of this tool is too large for the brass 1/2" backnuts sold by Screwfix, hence dropped two stars on features and overall ratings influenced by this. Works fine for the plastic backnuts supplied with Screwfix basin taps."
"Struggled with various spanners, wrenches including much more expensive tap wrenches to remove bottom sealing nut on water inlet valve on cistern. Got this in less than 10 minutes from local Screwfix. Old nut off. New inlet valve fitted. No leaks. Less than 5 minutes. Saved a load of grief on a Sunday afternoon from the Mrs. Did what it was supposed to at a fraction of the cost."
