"I couldn`t put a pipe in a snowmans mouth before but after using these push fit`s i`ll gladly tackle any plumbing around the house. only reason it never got 5 stars on reliability is because it hasn`t been installed for very long."

Convenient connector

"This was my first use of push-fits, not that it was planned (couldn't stop the water so soldering was out and there was no space to get spanners to do up compression fittings).
Read lots about the on t'web which generally said to make sure the cut pipes were clean, with no burs and square. The only thing I'd add is to add a pencil mark so you know when you've pushed it home. It worked best when the copper pipe was perfectly aligned against the push fit connector but some careful "tapping" helped it all the way in.

use an alternative

"Bought this to use in a narrow area (for a shower job) , thought that a normal fitting would have been too bulky as had to sit in a recess.
Got two of these fittings to be used from PE-X to copper pipe.
One of the joints just leaked and spat, no matter what.
I have used Cuprofit connections in the past and these had worked fine and only reason not used this time was due to using the PE-X pipe. These fittings could just not be relied upon so changed to compression fittings instead in the end.
on another downside note, once you have pushed in the pipe to these fittings, you won't be able to get it out easily again , unless you use the correct tool (I was not hoping to have to take the fittings off as did not expect them to leak so think about that before hand also because you would need to shell out more money)
use an alternative is my advice.

"Used this push fit connection in good faith. All seemed to be well until the water was turned on, it was then I found outthat one of the seals was deffective and water sprayed everywhere. Replaced it with a soldered joint."
