"I bought these to replace one that had blown after 4 years of use. The one that I replaced looked a bit cloudy (which I had not noticed before) compared to the new one, fitting was straightforward, for the price I cannot grumble. The staff at Folkestone were amazing as always"
"Not giving five stars across the board, as I am using these to replace my stock, The only problem I found was that they are marked as 240v, 20w in the catalogue and on the website, giving the impression that a transformer is not needed, although it does say if you look at the information small print, they need one, confusing to say the least. The lamps and the packaging is marked 12v 20w so I was lucky to find the right ones that I wanted at the right price."
"As an electrician, it drives me nuts that local shops only stock "Dichroic" 12v lamps which are designed to dissipate heat backwards as well as forwards, making them unsuitable for many recessed fittings. These "Aluminium" types are designed to radiate their heat forwards which stops the fitting and the wiring getting hot. Well done screwfix for stocking them."
